How do I use MicroManager?
When you get prompted by MicroManager enter a comment (the activity your are currently working on) in the text box. Select a project it's associated with and hit enter.
How do I add a project?
You have two options.
- Click the project quick add button that is to the left of project drop-down list, enter a project name, and click "OK".
- Or go to Tools > Manage Projects, and then click the "New Project" button. Enter your project information in the "Add New Project" window and click "OK".
How do I change the frequency that MicroManager pings me?
Go to Tools > Options..., and the update the "Prompt for activity every ____ minutes" value to your desired amount.
Are there any known bugs with the current version?
Yes, this version is beta and there are some bugs . Here are the ones I know of:
- When shutting down (or logging off) Windows MicroManager will prompt for you to enter one last activity (if you have the "Prompt for activity on close" option selected). Once this prompt comes up, unfortunetly, you have to request to shut down Windows a second time.
- In the "Manage Activities" screen you will sometimes get activiies that will not update their start and end times after you have made an update to at least one activity already.
